Publication Ethics | PillarScholar
PIRJ upholds COPE-aligned ethical standards for authors, editors, and reviewers, ensuring research integrity and fairness.
Publication Ethics
PIRJ is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. We follow the guidelines and core practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Author Responsibilities
Authors must ensure that:
- The manuscript is the authors' original work and has not been published elsewhere.
- All data in the article is real and authentic.
- All contributing authors are accurately listed.
- Significant errors found after publication are reported to the editor immediately.
- All sources of funding and potential conflicts of interest are disclosed.
Editorial Responsibility
Editors evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy. Editors ensure a fair double-blind peer-review process and maintain the confidentiality of all submissions.
Handling Misconduct
PIRJ takes allegations of plagiarism, data fabrication, and redundant publication extremely seriously. We use Turnitin to screen all submissions. If misconduct is confirmed, PIRJ will follow COPE flowcharts, which may result in a rejection, a correction, or an official retraction.
Conflict of Interest Policy
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial or personal interests that could bias their evaluation of the research.
